Krembo Wings operates tens of branches across Israel, and welcomes young people with disabilities aged 7 to 21 from all cultural, religious and socio-economic backgrounds. Activities are carried out by able-bodied youth counselors, aged 14 to 18, who learn the values of volunteering and leadership through their roles in our branches. Our main purpose is to enable every child living with any type of motor, cognitive or sensory disability to take part in enjoyable social interactions between one another and their able-bodied peers — and become part of community life. Branch activities include games, arts and crafts, music, and more. Branch sessions allow our members to expand their social circles and develop self-confidence. Our activities also provide respite for the parents of our members with disabilities. We provide transport to and from sessions for each member with disabilities, and a qualified nursing care worker is always present to provide hygienic assistance.
