We fundamentally believe that entrepreneurship is the 21st century’s superpower, enabling personal empowerment, communal development and economic growth and providing underrepresented founders and communities with the best circumstances to acquire the superpower of entrepreneurship, thus creating long term impact.
PresenTense’s innovative model inspires the launch of local businesses leading to employment and income opportunities, development of local economies and the establishment of strong communities through sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems. We work from the bottom up in a grassroots approach in our cutting edge, nationwide entrepreneurship programs, providing underrepresented young adults and youth including the Arab society, women, the Haredi society, FSU and Ethiopian Olim, asylum seekers, the LGBTQ + community and more, with outstanding entrepreneurship & leadership practices.
Our activities develop creativity, innovation, critical thinking, self-direction and adaptability and enable the maximization of human capital and include inspiring community-building events, deep training innovation courses & accelerators for underrepresented founders, ‘train the trainers’ mentoring & coaching for local partners and exposure programs for youth, creating tomorrow's entrepreneurial deal-flow.
By using tools from the world of entrepreneurship, we increase access to STEM education, promote diversity, equity & inclusion in the ‘Startup Nation’ and create scalable impact, contributing to a stronger and more resourceful society.
As pioneers in the field of social impact in Israel, we've led groundbreaking programs for underrepresented populations in Israel’s socio-geographic periphery including the first accelerator in the Arab society, the first accelerator for ultra-orthodox women, the first accelerator in the world focused on assistive technology and the first accelerators in many peripheral cities, including Lod, Ofakim, Ashkelon & more.
To date, we’ve worked with 20,000 underrepresented participants in over 148 entrepreneurship programs, 3,500 high-school students attended our Startup School, over 350 change agents from local communities took part in Train the Trainer courses, over 1,500 underrepresented founders participated in our accelerator programs & launched over 850 projects in the socio-geographic periphery, 70% improved employment and / or are leading active ventures, raising together $287,000,000 and creating 8K new jobs in the periphery.
