MICHA BS works to rehabilitate hearing impaired infants, both Hebrew and Arabic speakers. MICHA BS employs a multidisciplinary professional team that is continuously updating its knowledge on the newest rehabilitative methods and puts a strong emphasis on fitting the individual rehabilitation plan according to the child's needs and his /her family's willingness and abilities. MICHA BS's staff aspires to allow the hearing impaired child to realize his / her potential by developing a capability to listen and communicate and become an independent adult who is a part of normative society. During the past five years several significant changes in the Negev have greatly increased the need for audiology and hearing rehabilitation services. Today, Soroka hospital's Audiology Unit is unable to cope with the significant increase in the number of babies and infants in need. Donations will be directed toward addition of services- Purchasing hearing aids, and audiological equipment.
