The Conservatory Hassadna’s From Risk to Opportunity program, unique in Israel, facilitates access to first-rate music instruction for children from troubled financial, social and physical backgrounds. The Conservatory is proud of its diverse student body including children of Ethiopian descent, special needs and autistic youth and those who have suffered from a life of abuse, violence and poverty. All students are welcomed to the Conservatory with open arms. Our staff and program bring support, structure, normality and beauty into their lives. We promote creativity and encourage these special young people to explore and express their feelings and identities through artistic expression.

Having all these special children, from such diverse and sometimes extremely difficult backgrounds, making beautiful music together under our roof, we believe, is the realization of a great vision.
