Our goal is to serve the blind and visually impaired Israeli community regardless of age, ethnic background, or the ability to pay. Through our various programs we work to instill the ability and skills that allow them to cope with their lives, and

Three mornings a week Safed’s vision impaired elderly come to us for a variety of programs. Our residential accommodations (twelve fully equipped and air conditioned double rooms) enable us to offer short term live-in programs. These include: mini Residential Rehabilitation Program tailored to meet the needs of those aged 9-15; 19- 40; vision impaired university students as well as for those who attend various blind centers around the country. Our month long Residential Rehabilitation Program for those of working ages who are newly blind or going blind is unique, the only one in all of Israel. For over 30 years Beit Yael offered the only sleep over summer camp programs for vision impaired young people.
