Bishvil Hahayim (R.A.) is a registered charity (non-profit organization) that supports families that have lost their loved ones by suicide in Israel. It is active in suicide prevention on a national level by raising consciousness of the issue.
Bishvil Hahayim (R.A.) believes that suicide can be prevented. One of the main methods is to increase awareness of the issue; to promote discussion, to end stigma associated with suicide and to debunk myths. Suicide is not fate and with effort the number of suicides can be reduced. Path to Life is committed to the families that suffer. Not only do they suffer excruciatingly, but they are eight times more likely to suffer a further suicide than other families.
