Currently, JobKatif offers three different employment programs, each one assisting a specific population group.
Launched in 2013, JobKatif-Achotenu is a nurses training program designed for young adults from the Ethiopian community. A revolutionary 5-year academic program, participants earn a BS in Nursing from the Hebrew University's Henrietta Szold School of Nursing. Partnering with Hadassah Women's Zionist Organization of America, students receive living subsidies, scholarships, tutoring and personal mentoring.
Ta'asuChayil, an employment-based program for impoverished soldiers, was launched in 2016. Ta'asuChayil works with IDF soldiers on an individual basis, providing them with guidance and assistance during their work-approved time during their military service and as they approach discharge, provide academic and career guidance and counseling.
In 2012, JobKatif opened its first Tasukati office to provide customized individual mentoring for the 'employment challenged' -- among them the ultra-religious, single parents, chronically unemployed, olim, the under-employed and Gush Katif evacuees. Today Tasukati offices are located in Jerusalem, Nitzan, Yad Binyamin and Ashkelon.
