We strive to develop healthy agricultural and communal systems that produce nutritious food, conserve natural resources, and create opportunities for recreation, enrichment, and employment.
At more than 60% of the country’s land mass, the Negev is Israel’s future, and as its capital, Beer Sheva is its barometer. We at Earth’s Promise understand that, and as such we work with individuals and communities in and around the city to create and adapt locally sustainable solutions to everyday environmental and communal challenges. We are currently building Israel's first urban farm in Shchuna Gimel in Beer-Sheva, which will work towards strengthening local economy and community.
By developing grassroots models of sustainability that address real life challenges such as waste disposal, transportation, energy use, food production, and water conservation in Israel’s most strategically important region, we work to build the foundation for the country’s safe and sustainable future
