We aim to provide to all Israeli charities the tools to successfully fundraise through e-philanthropy in Israel and abroad. The core of this effort is the creation of IsraelToremet.org, Israel’s central portal for charitable giving.
IsraelGives.org (IsraelToremet.org in Hebrew) is a bilingual website that connects the world to Israel’s charities: it has information on all of Israel’s 27,000 charities, and provides an interactive mini-site to every charity in Israel to present themselves, recruit volunteers, and send email updates to supporters.
IsraelToremet.org is a like a “yellow pages” of charity: Website users can search through all of Israel’s charities by keyword, category or city. After connecting to the charity or cause they care about, they can make a donation, sign up as a volunteer, or create a personal fundraising page and raise funds for any charity in Israel.
