CAPI is an Israeli-registered non-profit organization working to promote peace and
coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians mostly in the city of Jerusalem.

The Center for the Advancement of Peace Initiatives (CAPI) is an Israeli
non-profit organization that seeks to enhance peace, justice and mutual
respect between the Israeli and Palestinian peoples with a focus in the city of
Jerusalem. We envision a reality without any type of discrimination or
oppression from one group to another; where all individuals enjoy their
rights and can fully implement their national, religious, cultural and political
identity. We base our work on our vast knowledge and experience about the
functioning of Israeli authorities and on the understanding of the consequences of the Israeli policies; on our capacity to implement empowering processes; on the
experience gathered through the cooperation with several members of Palestinian (mostly from East Jerusalem) civil society; on our understanding of the needs of the Palestinian neighborhoods and on the contacts with relevant actors at the regional and
international levels.
