The Fringe Theatre is a non-profit organization that was established in 2010 from a dream of real creativity in the Negev, with the belief in cultural pluralism and fundamental social change in the periphery. By creating equal opportunities in culture, by enriching the cultural choices in Beer Sheva and the Negev, and creating a community of artists around the theatre.
The theatre produces and operates within the community and is home to the Eagle Theatre Ensemble of six actors who live in town and volunteers once a week teaching Theater classes in educational institutions and social services with a focus on youth at risk and people with special needs. In 2014 the theater has done About 300 hours of volunteer work. This year we began operating an employment project for at-risk youth through integration in various areas of work in the theatre.
The theater produced 6 original productions 4 productions for children, which also won awards, at the fringe prizes of Israel "golden hedgehog".
