Ovdim empowers job seekers and career changers from underserved socio-economic groups to set and achieve professional goals.

Ovdim reaches out to members of weak socio-economic groups in Israel, providing them with career advice, giving them the tools to successfully navigate the Israeli labor market, and enabling them to find and retain rewarding jobs.
This is done by employing the following strategies;
1. Providing a one-stop information service to jobseekers; creating links between the different labor market agencies and connecting job seekers to appropriate organizations and professionals.
2. Developing programs to target specific populations and enabling them to enter the workforce and progress in their careers. This is done in partnership with relevant NGOs and government agencies.
3. Providing access to a proprietary network of career counselors nationwide.
