The nonprofit organization called “Kesher Ha’Shutfut” (the partnership connection) is a social
movement that began to form somewhere in 2018.
The movement began as a small group of friends, simple and ordinary people who shared a
common vision:
To find what can unite the divided Israeli society.
Many questions arose among the group members as they tried to understand how to solve
this deep issue -
How is it possible that Israeli society fails to unite? How is it possible that our society is so
divided? that there was such a great lack of trust between us?
And why exactly is this burning issue, which is the root of all our conflicts as a nation - not on
the agenda of the decision-makers?
Isn't that the point? Isn't that what we're all looking for? Social peace? Why is this
something we dare not deal with? As if this is some kind of far-fetched fantasy... when that's
the whole point.
And from here the understanding began to seep in, that we must be the change we want to
see in the world.
That we can't sit idly by and wait for someone to "save us" and do the work for us. But - the
work has to come from below, from the people.
After all, if there is a problem - there is a solution. All in all, you need to try and understand
what the root of the problem is, and offer a deep and comprehensive solution that will
address all aspects of the problem.
Precisely from these basic assumptions - the members of the group began to act, each in
their own field and abilities, and a deep thought began - what is the common factor for all of
us, which can motivate a comprehensive solution to the pain that we all share as a society?
And the answer was not long in coming - the act of giving. Doing kindness to others.
The social idea was simple - a little of each is so much of all of us.
