The Herzog Center has been operating in the southern region of Israel, with a focus on the western Negev, in the fields of education and Jewish identity for over 30 years. The organization has extensive experience in facilitating dialogue groups and dialogic study circles for diverse and varied populations. Throughout its history, it has established around 47 study circles and various programs, engaging over 800 learners and peers from all segments of Israeli society each year.

Our tools include open and respectful dialogue, learning in circles rather than in rows, and the ability to use and connect texts from the Jewish literary heritage as a source for discussions on identity and values that are relevant to every Jew from any background. Based on our many years of experience, which began even during the days of the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, we know that a group of people who come together with guidance and a common connection to matters of identity relevant to all members of the group serves as a soul anchor, a supporting circle, and even a healing one.

1. The Agents of Change Unit offers a variety of programs targeting Israelis aged 20-50 who have complex social influence and Jewish identity. The programs aims to strengthen the participants' Jewish identity while providing them with tools for leading social change and encouraging action for the benefit of the community and society.

2. Teen Unit Programs:
The center's educational programs aim to engage young people with fundamental questions about Jewish-Israeli culture, as well as diverse Jewish and Israeli perspectives. We encourage them to lead social change in their communities, with a focus on social justice issues and Jewish-Israeli identity.
We believe that young individuals who take on leadership roles in effecting change within their communities will grow to become socially responsible and engaged adults in their communities and in Israeli society.
3. Morning Study Unit
Our educational programming that is open to the general public normally reaches hundreds of people weekly, through courses, workshops, lectures, trips, and special events.
4. Dialogue Beit Midrash Unit
This year, the Herzog Center has developed a variety of new study programs. Programs consisting of 10 to 25 sessions will cover a range of topics such as women's leadership, mental health, creativity and art, and more. All of this will be done through encounters with peers who have diverse and complex Jewish identities, engaging in the shared study of Jewish texts while attempting to understand their relevance to contemporary reality. All programs of this department were first launched in 2023 with the support of the Ministry of Diaspora. Each program will involve 15 to 20 participants aged 20 to 60 years old.
