Freedom Farm Sanctuary is a rehabilitation shelter for animals rescued from the animal food and testing industries, and a center for compassion to all beings.
Freedom Farm Sanctuary is a rehabilitation shelter and center for compassion for animals rescued from the animal food and testing industries. The place takes in animals, rehabilitates and heals them, honors their inherent value, provides them with a life of freedom, security, and love, and restores their trust in humans. The organization strives to create a world where animals, humans, and the earth integrate symbiotically. The healing process that the animals go through allows visitors of the farm to have an unmediated and close encounter with its residents and encourages them to expand their circle of compassion to include all living beings. What makes the farm a unique place is the non-judgmental or defiant way in which it deals with one of the most violent practices - towards animals, humans, and the planet itself, and conveys information about: The moral consequences - the confinement, exploitation, and abuse of animals in agricultural farms. The ecological consequences - an industry that contributes significantly to the climate crisis, by having a direct effect on global warming, soil, air, and water pollution, and biodiversity loss. The health consequences - the conditions in which the animals are held and exploited directly affect the foods produced from them, and as such, affect the human body that consumes them negatively. Therefore, our aim is to restore our relationship with the environment and the animals living in it, by promoting a lifestyle that benefits them - a vegan world. Freedom Farm Sanctuary transformed from an idea into a social phenomenon in just a few years with thousands of volunteers and followers across social media. We invite you to experience the wonders of the farm for yourself!
