Increasing awareness of the disease among professionals. Identifying patients and asymptomatic carriers of OPMD. Establishing and managing facilities for consultation and medical treatment by specialists in OPMD. Promoting research for diagnosis, treatment, and cure of diseases in the population of Jews of Bukharan origin. Commemorating the legacy of Reya and Yair Zvulunov, who suffered from OPMD and died from its complications. Raising funds and donations to implement the purposes listed above.
