The mission of the association:
Strengthening broad circles of victims in Israel by:
Providing an immediate therapeutic response to adults and children with the help of a senior and experienced professional team nationwide. Due to the wide need and intensity of the traumas, 7 Plus offers all therapists in the network training and professional support by the best experts in the field. The purpose of the training is to maintain a high quality of care and to prevent situations of burnout or secondary trauma among the caregivers.
The treatments we offer:
a. Long-term care for those who need help processing the losses as a result of the October Seven events and the war. As part of the worldview of 7 Plus, we offer therapeutic assistance in dealing with grief and bereavement to wide circles. The treatment is not limited to the nuclear families of the void, the injured and the abducted.
b. Psychological treatment focused on the rapid reduction of symptoms of depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. As part of the 7 Plus world view, we offer long-term treatment aimed at reducing distress and developing personal resilience and skills to face the challenges of the future.
c. Psychological treatment in families that combines a multi-professional intervention within the family and with the community. This multidimensional work enables a comprehensive answer for children and adults while connecting to their internal and environmental sources of support.
d. Empowering Israel's younger generation with the help of group professional interventions - strengthening the sense of security and trust of children and teenagers. Early prevention of emotional injuries that may develop into serious disorders in the future in general and in military service in particular.
7 Plus offers its services to the second circle of war victims. In second circle we include :
People throughout Israel that a person close to them was injured, kidnapped or killed.
Members of an extended family of combat soldiers.
Children and teenagers experiencing emotional distress following the situation in Israel.
Parents experiencing war-related distress and in need of parental support or guidance.
Families of lone soldiers in countries outside of Israel.
Grandparents of direct victims.
