Friends of Tel Aviv University Association (Registered Association)

Operating a public body that brings together friends and supporters of the University and provides material and public support to the University, representing the community of University friends and supporters in the Knesset, government ministries, public and economic institutions, universities and academic colleges, foundations and individuals, in order to assist and advance University affairs, its students, faculty, and staff, to provide material and public support to the University in all fields of its activities, including: contributing to the University's budget at a rate to be determined annually by the Association's board, assisting the University in establishing and developing study and research units, institutes, and chairs, assisting in advancing and developing research at the University by granting research scholarships and establishing funds for scholarships and research grants for University faculty and students, assisting in advancing and developing research and teaching at the University through assistance in acquiring educational aids, scientific equipment, books, and any other means, assisting in developing and cultivating the University campus, assisting in establishing buildings, libraries, student dormitories, sports facilities, gardens, and the like, assisting University students in financing their studies through grants, scholarships, loans, establishing funds for scholarships and/or loans to University students, assisting in any manner in establishing, developing, expanding, and promoting the University, developing relationships between the University and government ministries, public and economic institutions, mobilizing financial resources to advance the Association's objectives through membership fees, donations, gifts, grants, and bequests and in any other manner, holding conferences, lectures, performances, and other cultural events to achieve the Association's objectives worldwide, cooperating with similar associations, strengthening ties with them, assisting them, and seeking their assistance in advancing the Association's objectives.
