To maintain in Israel an independent and autonomous public body whose members are supporters of the ideals of the United Nations Charter; to conduct educational and cultural activities among residents of Israel in accordance with values expressed in the United Nations Charter; to initiate educational activities among all students in universities and colleges and among high school students, such as through the MODEL UN framework in which young people and students participate; to work in coordination with bodies in the country and around the world that strive for faithful realization of the principles of the United Nations Charter, especially in light of the deviation from the Charter's principles that has occurred over the years through politicization in the activities of the United Nations organization and its institutions; to bring to the Israeli public information about the activities of the United Nations organization - including the institutions and bodies related to it - and about the international agenda; to encourage discussion of policy, social, legal, economic and cultural issues relevant to the activities of the United Nations organization, the institutions and bodies related to it; to participate in the activities of the World Federation of United Nations Associations
