Developing the bridge sport in Israel, coordinating and managing it in all matters related to this game as a competitive sport. Promoting awareness of bridge as a competitive sport among the general public and with state institutions. Establishing and enacting laws, regulations, procedures and rules regarding bridge and managing competitions on the basis of existing and accepted international laws and practices in the European Bridge League and the World Bridge Federation (EBL and WBF). Overseeing competitive bridge games conducted by recognized branches and taking appropriate measures when necessary to maintain fair and appropriate play standards. Working to advance the level of bridge play, promoting talent and cultivating habits of fair play principles, sportsmanship and discipline among members of affiliated organizations. Initiating, organizing, developing and conducting bridge competitions of all kinds and all kinds of joint activities for members of affiliated organizations or that may be of interest or significance regarding bridge play and its advancement, directly or indirectly. Publishing bulletins, periodicals, books and other publications, using common communication methods, conducting research and lectures, and serving as a body for exchanging knowledge and information among members of affiliated organizations and with external bodies. Working for the benefit of affiliated organization members. Developing international relations and fostering friendly and fraternal relations and organizing or participating in inter-regional or international competitions, congresses and events. Operating schools and courses for training players or tournament directors. Creating special funds for mutual assistance or any other purpose for the benefit of the organizations or their members. Generally taking any action necessary to advance bridge interests and the purposes listed above, including acquiring property, entering contracts and maintaining necessary operations
