Moriah Congregation in Haifa, is the oldest conservative synagogue in Israel. Founded in 1955 , and entering our 70th year of operation in the City of Haifa, Moriah has been the . home for egaletarian Judaism in Haifa.
Moriah is a halachic-egalitarian community with over one hundred and fifty families. Besides prayers, we run a variety of cultural and educational activities for the community and the residents of the city, including lectures and classes, social and cultural activities. The community holds Tikun Olam activities as part of its vision Our world. During the holidays, the community is a magnet for the residents of the neighborhood. We are invloved in all life cycle events, from birth ceremonies, bar/bat mitzvahs, and memorial ceremonies.
