Jerusalem Variety Center

Since 1994 the Jerusalem Variety Center serves as a warm home for children w/ special needs and their families. The Center was established to protect the right of every child to realize his talents and abilities and promote his integration in society the Jerusalem Variety Center serves as an umbrella for a broad variety of therapeutic and support operations for children between 7 months and 18 years of age. Hundreds of children with special needs and typical children from all sectors of Israeli society participate in the various activities held at the center. The guiding principles are: To improve and promote the welfare and quality of life for children with special needs and their families. To ensure the full realization of the developmental potential of children with special needs, with the goal of attaining maximum independence, by early diagnosis and the identification of physical, developmental and mental disabilities, and the establishment and operation of high-quality services. To promote tolerance and social inclusion of children with special needs in order to ensure their equal integration into society. To expand the knowledge in child development by developing a research and monitoring system, training personnel etc.
