Management of the Great Synagogue and all buildings belonging to it on Rabbi Akiva Street in Bnei Brak between Kelish and Ahiezer streets. Promotion of prayer, Torah study and its values among the synagogue's worshippers. Conduct and operation of social, family and Torah-related events for the benefit of the worshipping community and activities for community children. Assistance and support for those in need of the synagogue, including distribution of discounted food products before holidays and occasions, and providing loans to the needy. Maintenance of a Torah study institute and distribution of scholarships to Torah scholars among the synagogue's worshippers
