The Moreshet Yaakov Teachers' Garin is comprised of over seventy people aged 25–35 who, together with their families, moved to the Oshiot neighborhood in Rechovot to help this severely neglected and disadvantaged community. The organization aims to assist this underprivileged community in breaking out of the cycle of poverty by providing the Oshiot residents with a variety of programs and personal, social, and economic opportunities.
