The organization is a professional, non-partisan representative body whose objectives are: (a) To maintain the professional and ethical level of veterinary physicians in Israel. (b) To improve working conditions and salaries of members and ensure their representation before various institutions. (c) To arrange for veterinary physicians to work. (d) To research and address all matters related to veterinary medicine. (e) To establish scientific veterinary institutions. (f) To hold scientific assemblies, conventions, and professional development courses. (g) To publish veterinary journals. (h) To establish connections with scientific institutions and individuals in Israel and abroad. (i) To create a mutual aid fund for members and various foundations. (j) To participate in national and international academic organizations. (k) To undertake any action that appears beneficial to carry out the tasks that will be before the organization
