The Haifa Learning Enhancement Center

One of our main goals is integrating learning disabled children into the educational system & the community. We also strive to provide them & their families with proper support to deal with their challenges. Give guidance to teachers working w/ them The Haifa Center for Learning Enhancement was founded in 1989 to assure that all learning disabled youngsters in Haifa will fulfill their potential to contribute to our city and our society. Since then the pioneering efforts of The Haifa Center for Learning Enhancement have been replicated in similar centers around the country. Today our non profit organization remains a model in Israel for the treatment of learning disabled children and runs a network of five centers located in Haifa and its suburbs. One branch of our center is located in the hub of Haifa’s Arab neighborhoods and caters to the specific cultural and linguistic needs of the city’s Arab population. The other 4 centers serve Jewish children with priority given to serving new immigrants & disadvantaged veteran Israelis from both secular & religious populations. We are totally committed to treating every learning disabled person in need of our services regardless of economic or social status, nationality or religion.
