The Feuerstein Institute

We are an international education, treatment and research center, dedicated to the important and overlooked task of teaching people HOW to learn. We believe that through enhanced cognition, everyone can improve their quality of life. We accomplish our goal through use of the Feuerstein Method, a unique educational system which uses mediation and specialized instruments in order to enhance learning potential. It is applied in four main areas: Education: Used in classrooms worldwide, with children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, the Feuerstein Method trains students to develop their learning and thinking skills. Clinical: Our intensive integrated treatments improve functioning of children and young adults with a variety of developmental disorders, as well as teens and adults recovering from head injuries. Our goal is to integrate our clients into society to the greatest extent. Elderly: Through re-starting cognitive learning processes in the aging brain, we are able to slow-down and prevent dementia. Workforce: We assess the inherent potential in employees and candidates, serve in retraining, and assist them in better learning how to adapt their skill set to meet new challenges.
