ZEHUT – Centers for Deepening the Jewish Identity

Association of 40 associations under the supervision of the Division of Jewish Culture and Staff, which is part of the Ministry of Education. Identity Association represents 63 branches in 135 municipalities across the country in more than zehut was established in response to the need that followed the activity in the field, by the non-profit organizations that operated the Jewish Identity Centers. Since then, about 60 centers have been established and the associations that operate them have also joined as members of "Identity". "Identity" is, in fact, built from the General Assembly, which includes all the heads of its associations and a more limited circle of decision makers - the management. Although each center emphasizes different issues depending on the community in which it is located, all centers share the same goal: strengthening and establishing Jewish identity in communities throughout the country.
