Sophia - Independent Association for the Welfare of Orthodox Christians in Israel

Promoting the affairs of the Eastern Orthodox Christian community in Israel, while strengthening internal relations among members of the Eastern Orthodox Christian community and other communities in the land and around the world with emphasis on mutual respect. Preserving and establishing sites related to the Eastern Orthodox Christian entity in Israel. Promoting and encouraging cultural and religious activities, awareness activities, advocacy, and legal representation. The association will engage in the burial of Eastern Orthodox Christians from throughout the country, as required by law and by Eastern Orthodox Christian religion.
