Shaf Yativ (העמותה לשיקום ושילוב שף יתיב) is a registered Israeli nonprofit (amuta), registration no. 580468353, based in ירושלים, founded in 2006. It holds a certificate of proper management (Nihul Takin).
Shaf Yativ runs rehabilitation programs for people dealing with mental illness. We strive to give our students tools to reintegrate into society.
Shaf Yativ is a unique program that is designed to use culturally adapted means to help people dealing with severe mental illness rehabilitate. We believe that people should always be given a chance to achieve. Most rehabilitative programs are work related. We believe that many people can benefit from a learning environment to better prepare them to integrate into society. Our program utilizes a Beit Midrash like setting as the background for rehabilitation.
