With a view to minimize boarding school student dropout rates, the Bazelet Program provides teenagers from disadvantaged backgrounds a platform for simple, yet life changing experiences. Our annual educational program takes Israeli residential school teenagers on a year-long journey of self-empowerment. We run a unique curriculum that develops self-confidence in 9th and 10th graders. We take the teens on structured outdoors activities, as well as professional workshops at their school, aimed at developing a strong sense of teamwork coupled with self-reliance. We hold regular professional sessions for teenagers where they can meet successful individuals from all walks of life: From businesspeople to basketball players, and from performing artists to researchers. We teach our teenagers that nothing is outside their reach, and we demonstrate this by affording them repeated opportunities to meet their potential futures in person.
