Representing student issues at the university, maintaining proper, orderly and respectful relations with university management and its institutions. Working for the welfare and benefit of the student body at the Open University and of Open University alumni. Faithfully representing the student body to all authorities, institutions, bodies and individuals, including representation in university institutions. Working faithfully for the interests of the student body within and outside the university. Establishing and fostering relationships with student organizations and bodies in Israel and abroad. Working to ensure full equal rights for all students, without distinction of religion, race, nationality, gender, origin, age, political views and sexual orientation, and fighting against any manifestation of discrimination by any authority, body, institution or entity. Working to ensure and protect freedom of speech and opinion at the university and beyond. Encouraging student activity and involvement in Israeli society, including through the distribution of scholarships to students
