Association Backwind set itself to create quality recreational activities and leisure to a variety of different groups of people with special needs. We believe in Transparency and Governance, Quality Service and Professionalism, and strive to do good Backwind was born in 2002. The idea behind the association is to bring a different spirit in the field of leisure activities for people with special needs. We are aiming to bring the original activity, quality, diverse and sometimes a little alternative content. We believe that a person with special needs, like everyone, needs a quality leisure time, filled with depth, fun and suitable to his/hers choices and preferences. The various activities which we create for that population are influenced from nature and sometimes have the character of spirituality. We create a space of value-added activities, in order for the participants to feel like ordinary people and to help them feel like they can express their unique value in that time and through those recreational activities. Our activities speaks to the person's emotions, body and creativity. Today, Backwind Association integrates in delivering content to people with special needs on the entire spectrum, starting with autism, cognitive limitations, people who are limited physically and mentally. Practically, our various activities divers from: outings, classes, workshops And vacationers in the country and abroad. Once a year we hold a unique 3-day festival, intended soely for our audience and is known for its abundance regarding workshops, performances, complex therapies, arts and crafts, pool activities like HydroTherapy, kiosks and more.
