Bareket Academy (OMTZ – Faith & Excellence Center) is the only private center in Israel that has taken on one of the country’s most critical national challenges: preparing gifted and talented children, identified through professional screening, from the Haredi, Hasidic, Torah-oriented, Chabad, and Religious-Zionist communities for the worlds of academia, research, science, technology, and innovation.
From as early as first grade, Bareket students gain extraordinary access to fields that do not exist in their traditional school systems: advanced sciences, hi-tech, innovation, social sciences and humanities, languages, and the arts. They study in state-of-the-art laboratories, participate in research projects, receive personal mentoring, and experience university-level programs—all while maintaining their faith, values, and identity.
Within a decade, these communities will represent the majority of Israel’s population. The meaning is clear: the future of Israel—its science, economy, society, and security—depends on the education and preparation of this generation. This is how we ensure that Israel will remain a global powerhouse of science, hi-tech, and innovation—for the benefit of all its citizens, across all communities and sectors.
Bareket Academy operates entirely as a private initiative, without any government funding, driven by a deep sense of mission, faith in the future of these children, and commitment to the future of the State of Israel.
