About

Shemesh is a non-profit association named after Ohad Shemesh, who was killed iProtective Edge operation. The association works for the creation of an egalitarian society for children and teenagers from disadvantaged populations, to empower them and The Shemesh association was established in May 2015 in memory of the late Ohad Shemesh who fell in the battle in Khan Yunis during the "Tzuk Eitan" war on July 21, 2014. The association works to perpetuate Ohad's path and work: to give to the community and help children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds while realizing their potential. The association works with the aforementioned youth population in a number of diverse ways (and every year of activity even works to increase the ways of helping the youth): Every year in January (close to a fan's birthday) we hold an annual volunteering day, "Day following the sun". On this day, with the help of our dedicated volunteers, we work to improve the living, living conditions, meeting basic needs and the environment of the boys and girls. In addition, throughout the year we hold diverse social activities and empowerment lectures and workshops for the well-being of the boys and girls. Your donations will allow us to see all of them and do good deeds for the youth on the day following the sun and throughout the year. 2. Specifying fixed days in the year such as Earth Day and the day for the prevention of violence against women 3. Process and practical workshops "tailored" especially to the dimensions of the organization with which the association works. This year, for example, we gave the youth self-defense workshops while discussing boundaries. 4. Taking the youth themselves to volunteer with the belief that volunteering has the power to give the volunteer a lot.
