Nivcharot seeks to expand the circle of Haredi women who demand representation and wish to represent and to formulate the mechanisms of representation that will enable Haredi women to voice themselves. Our vision is to find Haredi women in political The Current Situation Israel, 2016: the only group that cannot realize its democratic right to political representation is Haredi (Ultra-Orthodox) women. This fact bears upon their personal and community status, their basic rights and their self-image and diminishes their prospects for the future. Women segregation and exclusion are so dominant in Haredi women’s lives, that we are prevented representation not only in Knesset but also in cities and neighborhood committees and any decisions making junction. The Goal Nivcharot seeks to expand the circle of Haredi women who demand representation and wish to represent and to formulate the mechanisms of representation that will enable Haredi women to voice themselves. Our vision is to find Haredi women in political and public positions of influence, both in the Haredi community and outside of it.
