What does Yedei-Or Mean to its Beneficiaries – Homebound Patients and People with Malignant Diseases Many patients in Israel are obliged to rely on Social Security allowances, while dealing with malignant or cancerous disease and the challenging recovery. In addition, many people with malignant diseases experience a decline in their physical functionality and/or economic stability, impacting upon their ability to use various services in the community. Yedei-Or is the only organization in Israel that provides Body & Soul treatments, to homebound patients and people with malignant diseases, privately in their homes, at a symbolic and affordable cost (patients pay NIS 50 directly to the therapist for each treatment). Patients are referred to Yedei-Or via medical teams, hospice-home teams, patients' associations and more.
