The Shanty Farm - Connection Between Human and Animal

In afternoon hours the place will serve as an open and protected home for children and youth in the Carmel Coast district, the place will encourage learning about nature, animal behavior and enable learning of boundaries, the place will impart values of responsibility, contribution to the community and compassion, through care for animals, children and youth will strengthen various skills and abilities such as empathy, listening and fine motor skills, caring for and assisting animals will boost the self-confidence of children and youth, the place will serve as a social and educational meeting point for the community, an experience for families while volunteering at the farm, meeting with diverse animals and participating in their rehabilitation process
