The Council will work to provide presence, value, and dignity to the identity, culture, and tradition of Ethiopian-origin communities in Israel; the Council will work to encourage and empower personal, local, and national leadership among Ethiopian-origin communities; the Council will work to realize the potential within Ethiopian-origin communities, to reduce gaps, and to ensure successful and positive integration of Ethiopian-origin communities into Israeli society; to serve as a home and meeting place for the views and ideas of Ethiopian-origin communities in Israel.
