HaNoar Hamitnadev is a volunteer movement for high school aged teens.
The movement was established in June 2021 with the aim of connecting charitable organizations with volunteers, creating volunteer initiatives, promoting youth entrepreneurship and helping throughout the country wherever needed.
Our vision: To create a society in which every person knows that there is someone who can help them.
The movement operates throughout the country, with an emphasis on major cities.
Volunteering in the Noar Hamitnadev gives these teens the opportunity to meet new peers from a variety of places and populations throughout the country, and gives them the opportunity to give of themselves to others and to enjoy a variety of opportunities for kindness and giving each week.
The movement has initiated over 1,300 volunteering opportunities. There are approximately 1,500 volunteers in the movement to date. Our volunteers are the pulsating spirit of the movement.
The movement has 5 districts and approximately 70 "convoys" who are located in schools or in communities throughout the country.
Thus far, the movement has initiated and organized many events, including: 10 weddings for couples in need, 2 bar mitzvahs for families in need, a fun-filled day for kids with special needs, agricultural work, food packaging, cheering patients in hospitals, treats for soldiers, and many more initiatives of volunteering, and many more...
In addition, the movement emphasizes forging team spirit among the teens, education, and enrichment. During vacation time there are whole day activities for all of the members countrywide, where activists meet up for volunteering and bonding. There are weekend retreats for members, a summer seminar, enrichment activities, and other bonding and educational events throughout the year.
The movement's administrative structure includes teams, committees, and a wide variety of positions, the vast majority of which are filled by high school-aged volunteers.
The movement advertises its activities on social media in the belief that advertising positive activities will encourage more people, and teens in particular, to go out and do more good.
In 2022, the "Amutat Yael – Together Helping Society" nonprofit organization was created and registered as a nonprofit organization. The HaNoar HaMitnadev movement is the first division in the npo. Another division in the npo is "Chaver melamed Chaver - Friends Teaching Friends" – which is a WhatsApp project that helps over a thousand high school students help each other with their studies.
The goal of Amutat Yae"l is to open up new divisions in the future for any cause that does not have a suitable solution from another organization in the country. Our vision is, every person who needs help will know how to contact our hotline, where they will be directed to the relevant division for them or to another association that already exists and helps with the issue they need.
