Founded three years ago, our mission is to restore biodiversity by implementing innovative solutions that allow wildlife to move safely across human-dominated landscapes.
Our Work
Community-Based Conservation
We believe in the power of community involvement. Through our Wildlife and Communities program, we work with local councils and residents to develop conservation projects tailored to their region. This includes community monitoring initiatives, roadkill reporting systems, and public awareness campaigns
Research and Advocacy
Safe Wildlife Crossings actively collaborates with researchers, ecologists, and policymakers to advocate for wildlife-friendly infrastructure. We collect and analyze data on roadkill hotspots, propose mitigation measures, and push for policy changes that prioritize biodiversity protection highway infrastructure planning.
Educational Programs
Our Wildlife and Us initiative aims to educate the next generation about biodiversity conservation. The program engages children in hands-on activities, teaching them about local wildlife, the threats they face, and how they can contribute to protecting nature.
Technology for Conservation
Leveraging artificial intelligence and digital tools, we developed a WhatsApp chatbot that enables people to report roadkill incidents in real time. The chatbot incorporates location tracking and image recognition to identify species, providing valuable data for conservation planning.
