The association is established to publish and promote the work and legacy of writer Aharon Appelfeld, the association will work in addition to publish and promote the cultural and public work of writer Aharon Appelfeld in giving artistic expression to the Jewish world lost in the Holocaust, the association will initiate, execute, promote and financially support artistic creation, publishing, research, educational materials and teaching, archival activities, content in all media, activities and initiatives of all types and forms in Israel and throughout the world, the association will work to establish a center named after writer Aharon Appelfeld, to award prizes and/or scholarships in his name and will also take any supporting action for the achievement of the aforementioned goals
