Project Goals: To strengthen the hope within us, shine a light on the good in the world, and empower what we truly want to see in our lives. We say "yes" to life, to peace, and to serenity.
"Mom, the world is full of hate," said Alon, a 10-year-old boy living near Israel's northern border. Alon, along with many other children and adults, feel that the world is dominated by hatred and violence. While painful and negative images capture significant attention, our fundamental desire for peace, love and unity often remains unseen. Through our activities, we seek to amplify the good, respond to a deep human need and thirst for optimism that is so lacking in the face of division and violence.
Our Flagship Project - Creating a massive 40-kilometer social art creation!!! 40 kilometers of human hope, composed of millions of recycled fabric squares on which people write or draw their personal "yes." We will connect the squared pieces from the communities of the North, Center and South. We will also add squared pieces that will come from global communities to provide a visual and tangible expression of the fact that we are one interconnected human tapestry - colorful, vibrant, personal, social, and most importantly, connected.
We believe that creativity and hands-on work empowers personal and mutual resilience resources. The touch and internal connection of each person with their feelings and aspirations, expressed in an accessible and tangible product, enhances the sense of belonging.
We aim to exhibit the completed and shared sheet of creation in central locations around the world as possible; the Knesset in Israel, the United Nations Headquarters, embassies, and more.
