Establishment of dedicated training facilities for the unit and purchase of equipment not included in the military budget; support and assistance to unit members and alumni; development of unit heritage and establishment of a heritage room; assistance and support to families in extreme situations, such as war; participation in joint projects with parallel organizations of special/elite units; following the events of October 7, a decision was made to establish a rapid military response unit in the Golan Heights under the command of the Bashan Brigade - the Para unit. The Para unit was built as an initial response to the October 7 events and consists of fighters from the Golan out of the principle of home defense and due to the ongoing fighting in the north. Following the establishment of the unit, it was decided to establish an association to accompany the unit and assist it in all its needs that are not included in the IDF's basket of necessities
