Nachman Levy z”l – Illuminating His Path
Nachman Levy was a boy full of life, dreams, and light. On November 26, 2023, during a ride with his friend, he was tragically killed in a devastating electric bicycle accident in Beit She'an – at just 15 years old.
Nachman dreamed of traveling the world, serving his country, and bringing people together. Everywhere he went, he spread joy, kindness, and warmth – values that guide us along the path of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and Chabad philosophy: a path of Ahavat Yisrael (love for every Jew), selflessness, and caring for every human being.
In his memory, we are establishing "The Warm Home" – a true home for at-risk youth, inspired by the teachings of Chabad.
A place where every boy and girl will feel seen, valued, and loved – a place where they will always have a home to return to.
---
Why is The Warm Home so important?
Some teens don’t have a real home. No one is waiting for them with a warm smile. No adult is there to truly listen.
We are here to change that – out of genuine commitment and love for every person.
The Warm Home is much more than just a building – it will be a place of hope, support, and love, living the Chabad value of "Love your fellow as yourself."
It will be a place where every teen can find their way back to the light – the inner light within them and the Divine light that shines in every soul.
---
What makes The Warm Home special?
✅ A supportive and loving environment – Every teen will find an open door, a listening ear, and a caring heart, just as the Lubavitcher Rebbe taught – to see the good in every person.
✅ Personal guidance with purpose – A dedicated team of professionals and mentors will accompany each teen, guided by the core Chabad values of joy, giving, and seeing the soul in every person.
✅ A supportive community – The teens will not only receive help, but also learn to give back, to share, and to be part of a true family that believes in them and encourages them to grow.
---
What will The Warm Home include?
☕ A social café – A unique platform for professional empowerment where teens will learn valuable life skills in a warm, family-like Chabad atmosphere.
🎨 An art and creativity room – A safe space for self-expression and emotional healing through creativity, fostering belief in the inner strengths of every teen.
🎵 A music room – Because sometimes words are not enough – music can heal and connect the heart and soul.
🎮 A play and recreation room – A fun and relaxing space where teens can feel like any other teenager – simply being themselves.
🍽️ A family kitchen and dining room – Because a warm meal provides more than just food – it gives a sense of home, belonging, and love.
📖 A lecture and workshop room – Inspiring workshops that will teach teens life skills, guided by the Chabad value of "action leads to transformation."
🕍 A small, illuminated synagogue in Nachman’s memory – A place of holiness and inner peace, where teens can connect to their faith and draw spiritual strength.
