The organization operates nationwide, in routine and emergency, to strengthen, rehabilitate and assist disadvantaged populations, soldiers, needy families, children and youth, seniors and victims of hostile acts, in close cooperation with welfare institutions, local authorities, the IDF and social organizations, the organization provides humanitarian assistance through food distribution, medical equipment and financial support, operates in emergencies to assist soldiers and evacuated families, operates a free community supermarket, and promotes education, employment and equal opportunity for all populations in Israel, the organization leads a volunteer network providing personal support and works to advance equality
