Promoting personal security, community security and social resilience in Israel, with emphasis on Arab society, developing, initiating and operating multi-sectoral initiatives, programs and activities to address crime and violence and their social, economic and political consequences, strengthening communities, local authorities, public institutions and civil society organizations through multi-sectoral cooperation, professional training, building community infrastructure and resource mobilization, assistance, guidance and support for crime victims, their family members and communities affected by violence and crime, including promoting community responses and referral services to treatment and assistance providers, promoting research, knowledge, public policy and public awareness regarding the impact of crime and violence on society, the economy and public space, including data collection and analysis, publishing reports and position papers, and promoting professional and public discourse based on evidence
