The association acts as a local branch of the Histadrut in accordance with the Histadrut constitution and bylaws, and its objectives are the objectives of the Histadrut as detailed in Chapter A of the Histadrut constitution, chief among which are: to unite and organize all workers who live from the fruit of their labor without exploiting the work of others, for the purpose of arranging the social, economic, cultural and organizational affairs of the working class in Israel, for the purpose of building a creative working society in the State of Israel
