Hallelujah is a singing competition that connects Jewish youth to Israel and offers its competitors a unique opportunity to explore their heritage and make a deeper connection with Judaism, while pursuing their passion for music.
Hallelujah competitors come from all over the world but are asked to choose, learn and perform songs in Hebrew. 30 are selected and brought to Israel where they get to travel the country, immerse themselves in Israeli culture, meet with some of the biggest names in Israeli music, and pursue their passion of singing.
The competitors take on professional voice training and a rigorous rehearsal schedule to prepare them to compete in a number of live performances while in Israel. At the Semi-Finals concert 12 competitors are chosen to advance to the Finals.
The winner is awarded a cash prize and the chance to record a song through Hallelujah and its partners. Furthermore Hallelujah organizes and produces live shows for the winner, and many of the other finalists.
