About

To cultivate, maintain and promote in Israel the ideas for which the international Paralympic Games were founded and are held. To act for the preparation and participation of disabled Israeli athletes in the Paralympic Games. The Paralympic Committee has many decades of experience in integrating disabled people (from Israel's wars, hostilities, Birth Disability and accidents), through sports in general and competitive high-achieving sports in particular. The Paralympic Committee brought together hundreds of Paralympic athletes (past and present athletes) who themselves went through a complex rehabilitation process after a serious injury (amputees, paralyzed and other disabilities), with sport being a central component in their rehabilitation. These athletes, in combination with the experienced professionals of the Paralympic Committee, will be a model and inspiration for the young injured (children, teenagers, young people and adults).
